Proudly welcoming H. George Frederickson, Distinguished Visiting Professor

The Department of Public Policy and Administration is proud to welcome Professor H. George Frederickson for a very unique opportunity to teach in our Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration program in Fall 2013. Dr. Frederickson “is a generalist in the field of public administration with particular interests in public administration ethics, theories of public administration, systems of multi-level governance, and American local government. He currently serves as the Edwin O. Stene Distinguished Professor of Public Administration at the University of Kansas. He is President Emeritus of Eastern Washington University and served as President of the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA). Dr. Frederickson is the founding editor of the Journal of Public Affairs Education (JPAE) and founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory (JPART)”.

  • -November 4 Monday night-Dr. Frederickson will be lecturing in the 601 class.
  • -November 5 Tuesday night- Dr. Frederickson will be lecturing in the 602 class.
  • -November 6 Wednesday night- Dr. Frederickson will give a general interest talk about trends in PA doctoral education, particularly doctoral education at smaller and/or regional or so-called urban universities. This lecture is designed for all audiences.
