Eric Lindquist Presented at Conference on Earth System Governance

Eric Lindquist, Public Policy, studio portraitEric Lindquist, director of Boise State’s Public Policy Research Center and associate professor in the Department of Public Policy and Administration, presented a paper at the 2014 Norwich Conference on Earth System Governance, hosted by the University of East Anglia, in Norwich, England. The paper, titled “Climate change impacts on urban hazards governance in Idaho: a comparative policy network perspective,” applied a policy network perspective in comparing two natural hazard policy networks in the Treasure Valley, the urban flooding and the wildland-urban interface wildfires policy networks.

The urban flooding research is part of Boise State’s research component in the statewide National Science Foundation Idaho EPSCoR project; the wildfire research is being conducted as part of an interdisciplinary collaboration between the center and the departments of Community and Regional Planning and Geosciences. Lindquist also served on the International Review Panel for conference abstracts.
