Control of Federal Lands

John Freemuth, a professor for the Department of Public Policy and Administration at Boise State University, was quoted in a Los Angeles Times story titled “Control of federal lands emerges as an issue in the GOP presidential race”. Lawmakers argue that 50 percent of the land in the West is owned by Federal government and control of that land should be transferred to the states.
