New Protected Areas Database Created at Boise State

The U.S. Geological Survey recently published a new version of the PADUS_Land_Manager_Protected Areas Database (PAD) that was developed at Boise State University. PAD-US is the country’s official inventory of protected areas. Professor John Freemuth is the leader of the PAD-US development team through a multi-year cooperative agreement with the USGS Gap Analysis Program (GAP).
