Applied Research Opportunities
The PhD Program in Public Policy and Administration is housed in the School of Public Service (SPS) at Boise State University. SPS is also home to programs in political science, criminal justice, and military studies, and PhD students frequently work with faculty across these programs.
SPS also houses a number of research centers that offer opportunities for students to do hands-on, applied policy research.
Graduate Assistantships and Scholarships
The PhD program offers full-time students the opportunity to apply for Graduate Assistantships (GAs). GAs receive tuition waivers and stipends for part-time work completed with a faculty advisor. These assistantships provide an excellent opportunity for students to become part of the PPA research culture at Boise State.
Scholarships are also available to interested applicants.
