In Fall 2016, School of Public Service graduate students worked with Professors Ashley and Hubbard on a community project with the City of Sandpoint, Idaho, a tourism hotspot in Northern Idaho. Students designed and shared a survey with organizations in the downtown’s Business Improvement District (BID) to gauge their perceptions on the strengths and weaknesses of the BID to inform impending policy changes.
